Leadwork and lead guttering - all needs replacing. Anyone know of a good lead roofer person?

Hello all,

Just had my new (old) Tudor house surveyed by a specialist - not cheap but well worth the detailed advice/findings.
The roof itself (tiles and timbers) are in pretty good nick.

BUT the extensive lead guttering, valleys etc. all need replacing. There is extensive water ingress where it's failed so it all has to be replaced.
Does anyone know of a specialist who does this type of work and has experience in historic buildings?

*If* he's available, Quinn Bytheway is superb, and he's Birmingham based. Lovely guy and top notch work. I say "if he's available" as Quinn has carer responsibilities for his disabled son and last time I spoke to him (3-4 years ago) he was staying close to home. Quinn did work for me here and the quality was excellent, he's very experienced with heritage work.

You could also try Tim Evans, but he's a bit further out (Oswestry). I'll drop you a note with his number.

For a general building contractor who will probably have other leadworker contacts, Phillips & Curry do a lot of heritage work.
