Leaded window restorers in south east

I am after someone to restore leaded windows I have in a mid-terrace cottage I am buying. A couple of the small panes have broken or are missing (each one is plain glass about 6cm x 8cms) and the lead appears to have softened in a couple of places and the window is bowed in a couple of points.

Hoping someone can help

I've worked with stained glass as part of sculptures and have learned the process well enough to create windows for myself, but I've never heard or read of "lead softening". Maybe it's because I've been using modern materials and have not been restoring old windows, but from what I see, other than using modern grinders and some updated glass formulations, the craft itself hasn't changed in hundreds of years.

What exactly is happening? I probably can't be of much help, but I'd be interested to know.

Cotswold Casements may cover your area. Otherwise you could speak to your local conservation officer who should be able to give you some names.

Lead sags & cracks, and the cracking weakens it considerably. The change in profile that often happens over the centuries weakens it further.
