K-Rend Anyone?

Hi. I am hoping someone on here will have heard of or have some experience of a product called K-Rend. Apparently it's a pre-coloured water-proof render that is also, according to the blurb, breathable?
Why I ask is the builder we are using to do some work for us is recommending this to replace some ghastly die-cast (pebbledash) render on the gable end of our cottage (very random stone walls). I have checked it out on the web-site and it 'appears' to be suitable but I would like a second or preferably third opinion. I had originally intended to re-render with lime but now I am confused...

Looks to be a cement and silicone based product - not suitable for sympathetic rendering of old masonry I would think.

The same company do make pre mixed lime based renders as well judging by their website but the dashing product definately contains cement.

Lime render - used and proved over centuries, K-Rend probably great in the right scenario but why take the risk on a valuable building when there is a perfectly viable, tried and tested alternative?!
