The hawthorn tree in blossom this morning, and the re-roof on the cartshed (now fuel store!) is settling down quite well (end few ridge tiles maybe need a re-bed).
Very nice indeed.
But don't try to light a fire, dear, the chimbley's blocked.
(How do you water the urn? It's been so dry recently every bit of soil seems like a piece of baked clay.)
Never do - it seems to survive though, it's just houseleeks and been there for years. Not sure how it still clings on, as it's broken, with a bit of wire around it.
It was once a washhouse with a copper, after it was a cartshed, but that's been removed (it's in the garden as a planter as the bottom has a hole in).
Nah - container's too small! And has so many cracks it would leak! Picturesque though.
Borage for Pimm's does grow like weed in the garden though. In fact weeds grow wonderfully in the garden. Just out of sight is the latest in the saga, earthworks by a man with a wheelbarrow shifting tons of the stuff. The he has a wall to build. I swan around directing operations.
