I've never lived in a listed property but I'm lucky enough to work for a charity and several of our premises are listed including a Grade II* house. One of our Grade II properties is being freshened up inside and decorating is underway. It's a Georgian house and the redecorating is looking really nice. However I've noticed that we're using F&B paint. Now it could be that we've been given the paint or got it at a fantastic price but assuming that isn't the case it seems an expensive luxury. Presumably there's no listing issue about the sort of paint you use internally? or the colour scheme you must have? What about breathability? Might we be making a case for using a more breathable paint - but I didn't think F&B was that breathable? Just wondering really as it's none of my business what's used.
