I started reading this forum about 4 years ago. At that time I was jealous of you all I had such an incredible desire to own an old property and yet didn’t have one of my own. Two and a half years ago that all changed when I moved into Llanthony. Since then I’ve been a reader and sometimes contributor although erratically. I just wanted to thank you all for your willingness to share your knowledge. You all help give people the strength and ability to fulfil their dreams and you help some amazing properties in the process. Before I moved in I promised to share photos with you all and a few years later I would like to keep that promise. Much has happened but as of today I have a live website and while it isn’t all geared towards restoration it certainly takes it’s place and I would like to share it with you all and say a huge thank you to the people here.

Built into the walls of the churchyard is the former village bread oven.

Not so long ago a large tree in the churchyrad blew over and demolished a chunk of wall and blocked the main street.

We had been parked where the tree fell only a short while previously.

Wow - what a place ! and what a beautiful job you have done. That gable end wall is a thing of beauty (but then I am a little strange that way - spend a lot of time stroking walls and patting beams - that sort of thing)

I got goosebumps just looking through the website Anne - the Manor has incredible atmosphere. It must feel like such a priviledge to stay there. Makes me want to hire costumes from Stratford and roast a whole pig!
