Islington garden open this weekend for charity

My garden is open to the public from 2-6pm on Sunday as part of the National Gardens Scheme, with money going to charity. All PPUKers are welcome and a tour of the house can be arranged for any interested:

Good luck with that Nigel, hope all goes well. Alas Islington is a very long way from here.

I wish my garden was in a better state - it never seems to get above the "do the bare minimum to keep it from reverting to jungle" status. Any period of decent weather is always spent working on the house. Still, it'll keep I suppose.

Lovely part of the world, Nigel. Some lovely architecture. We lived in a Georgian conversion in Richmond Avenue for a few years back in the 90s. Blair was a neighbour. Many a late night at the Hemingford Arms....

We had about 80 visitors over the course of the afternoon and raised over £250.

This event has the advantage of forcing me to get the garden into good shape by the start of the summer. We intend to open again next year.
