You chose to continue your war of words even after one of the most respected members asked you to stop it. Others chose to continue to post helpful replies and should be congratulated. It is not for you to decide who can and can not speak.

I've put up with all manner of sexist crap on this forum over the years. It's time it stopped.
I'm not prepared to have trolls take over this forum to be abusive just so they can feel good about themselves. If you think that's OK, well so be it.
In general I try to answer questions where I have some knowledge. Apparently though that's not good enough, and posting links to further sources of information isn't good enough either. I'm apparently not allowed opinions either, or to try to put forward a point of view.
I've complained. and I'll keep complaining, to Rob Tavendale. As someone said to me today - what I said needed to be said to the person concerned. If anyone has personal problems with me (although never having met me) or with women in general, then seek help, don't post here about it.
If the same idiot wishes now to carry on on this thread, I'll not be responding. Rob has locked the other thread.
Same as I think I'll let him answer the questions as he's clearly so critical of others efforts.
And maybe, Dave Alder, you'd like to start?
