There is an old Saudi embassy house on a prime patch in Singapore that has been left to the same fate, I assume nothing can be done for similar diplomatic reaons.

Very sad and it looks to be beyond economic repair and probably lost forever. Although, if the politics can ever be sorted out it could be that economics may not be a primary consideration and that diplomatic pride may mean that money is no object (ok, that's grasping at straws )
