iPhone/iPad App?

Hi, does anyone know if there is an iphone/ipad App for this site? I can't seem to locate it, but I'm guessing it must exist, right?

I don't think there is and I'm not sure why it would be necessary? I use the iPad to visit here most of the time and don't have any issues.

That's the cutest reply to an App comment i've read in a while.
The point of the app would be better navigation, especially for an iPhone. For example, the facebook app is highly suited for a smaller screen, mobile checking, etc, as opposed to the desktop version which is good for a proper keyboard/mouse interface and larger screen.

Let's say I know nothing about property and a tiny bit about tech which, though still useless, made me hope for an app for this cool site.

Because when out and about and confined to 3G or lesser data networks browsing a full fat version of the forum can be time and data consuming, there is an excellent app I use across a variety of forums with a wealth of forum specific features like the ability to host and resize photos for upload to the forum etc. called Tapatalk, there is a phpbb forum specific plugin that could be installed by the site owners fairly easily to extend the functionality of the forum.

I've seen them quite a few times over the years but I don't actively seek them out - a bit like Dilbert really. They are usually very good though.

The app thing is a source of mild contention in the FF household though. Mrs FF favours apps for things like Facebook etc, because of their 'better' interface, whereas I prefer to use the standard browser because then I know where everything is regardless of whether I'm using a PC, iPad or smartphone. So it seems to be a choice of 'better but different' vs 'consistent' and I prefer 'consistent' . . . . possibly because my Y-chromosome confers an inability to cope with different ways to do the same thing? :lol:

I agree with Mrs FF as far as using the other place on a small mobile device is concerned, nice to be able to do a quick "check in" and scan through what's occurring. For here though I prefer the iPad, I'm always hopeful that there will be interesting pictures etc.

I'm with you FF. I got a laptop with windows 8 on it recently, which seems to be all about apps. I downloaded classic shell to get my desktop and start menu back and I'm much happier with that arrangement.
