Internal farmhouse /suffolk doors

have just done a web search but am uninspired by the results - can anyone recommend some one who does nice internal farmhouse /cottage/suffolk style oak doors? - either reclaimed or new

all doorways are different sizes too(!) - so will need to be up to a bit of careful re-sizing

Yep that's them Alice - but i don't know if i like them so much as just the cottage ones (plain plank style)

We are just after something a bit nice - a good friend (with beautiful Lancs farmhouse) has got loads of seasoned english Oak planks that he got cut when he took out some beams from his barn but he's hoarding them for future repairs and won't sell - i was hoping we might be able to find something that looks nearly as good - all the doors on sites I've seen look a bit "fake tan"

The good Mrs V. may have a view on that, but I believe my Lincolnshire doors can be adapted to fit a Cumbrian doorway.

Wow Biff - just looked at your site - thats just the very type of thing (actually, things plural - in fact pretty much everything you do ) we are looking for - Will be in touch.

The doors wont need much adapting for cumbrian life - we don't wear the yokes inside so much these days!!

Well actually - they are hosting the SAVE 30 Exhibition (as seen first at the V and A) from June 9th to July 21st (and not August as currently says mistakenly on the SAVE website) and had some sorting out for that to do.

Tell your friends that my (very good) friends children really enjoyed Hansel and Gretel in Easter Hols at Upfront - (think my friend did too actually!)

We are lucky enough to have a boat on Ullswater (another renovation project!!) and often camp up at Yacht Club with offspring - Upfront have definitely made it onto my "what to do when weather is old boots!" list.

I have a heap of pictures of Hansel and Gretel, including puppets being made, and John showing children the puppets after.

The witch's cottage made it onto the SAVE Buildings at Risk Register!

He has had a lottery grant of over forty thousand pounds to save the Stanelli puppet collection from being broken up.
