Internal doors - 1830s cottage

Hi,

We live in an 1830's mill workers cottage in a model village in bolton.
We are renovating the property and I want to install roughly the same internal doors as was in originally.

Can anyone tell me what sort of doors might have been in the property originally?

Seriously, is it a cottage of the same type as neighbouring ones? do any of the neighbours still have their original doors?
For an 1830s house quite a lot would depend on architectural style though in a group of workers' cottages of the same or similar design it's likely the doors would have been a job lot and not terrifically expensive. A photo or two of the outside would help in the guessing game.

If the word "Barrow" has a connection with where the cottage is, I'd suggest the doors were probably fairly plain 4- or 6-panel ones.
And none of the internal walls or chimney breasts would have been exposed stone.

Hi,

Pic attached of the front of the cottages.
The black door to the left is next door and is a six panel but this was put on more to do with costs when the guy renovated.
Maybe he just happened to get the correct style.

Would this style of cottage have had 4/6 panel internal doors.

None of the neighbours have the original internal doors.
The closest we have is our pantry door which is a 4 panel door (shorter panels at the top) which through my little research I believe to be around 1910?!

I used to live in a Georgian cottage, and all the internal doors (which I think were original) were pine ledge and brace.

ETA: Now that I think of it, they might have been even simpler than L&B - just straight battens across the planks.

I didn't know there was a model village in Bolton, I'll have to look that up as I work in the Bolton area.

Pics of the cottage inside and out would be very helpful.

they're quite "smart" and "urban" cottages and I think 4-panel doors would be more likely at the date (1830s?) than ledged and braced or just boarded.

I'm moderately confident this is original.

I'm in a weavers cottage circa 1829. I have 4 doors of that style all matching so there is a good chance they are original.
