Hi, I want to know if anyone has installed a Wood Burning stove in a Victorian Fireplace? Reason is I love real fires and I'm concerned that the Victorian Fireplace (with tiling etc) will be a bit small to have a log fire but a stove may look our of place...

I quite happily burn logs in my victorian combination fireplace, you can only get a couple of logs in at a time and I find it works best with a combination of logs and coal but you get an open fire with flames, crackles, ash and everything and, although small, heats the room quite adequatly (infact better than the radiator).
Only my opinion, but I think it would be a shame to rip out an original tiled fire place to put in a wood burning stove just so you can chuck a couple more logs in.

If you install a stove inside it you are going to have to remove the front bars, grate and fire back which all but destroys the original fire place and I should think it would have to be a fairly small stove.
If you install one infront of it you would have to find a way to install the flue through the original fire place - you would have to extend the hearth a fair way into the room to accomodate the stove and meet the building regs about non-combustable material around and beneath a fire. It would also look pretty strange.
I think your cut feeling about the stove looking out of place is right. You are luck to have a beautiful original victorian tiled fireplace - which was after all designed to be sufficent to heat the room.
Mind you, only my opinion and limited knowlegde, I am sure others will oblige with their ideas and experiences.

I think you will have difficulty fitting something in an existing fireplace - how are you going to route the flue for example ?
there are a couple of very small stoves that fit a standard fireplace - try looking at a stovax stockton 3 for example.

Consider to extend your hearth to comply with reg's, fit your choosen stove to the front of existing fireplace. Stove should have flue to top which can then be 'elbowed' into the chimney flue thereby not disturbing your original fireplace/ fireback. You will no doubt have the flue inspected for a decision regarding a liner or not. And of course you will need a baffle plate fitted below the new stove outlet perhaps. Good luck
