I assume that there is not much call for lime either!. There are some interesting websites on this house and one particular site shows a very similar house next door that is completely renovated / rebuilt. I'm guessing it's probably a rebuild of a concrete house that was already on the site because 'The Concrete House' is supposed to be the last remaining example, hence the Grade II listing. The previous owner would have knocked it down and the arguments went on for so long that the council was forced to make a compulsory purchase. Will be interesting to follow the blog.
I think the one next door is actually part of an "enabling development" that the previous owner was given permission to build (new) in order to finance restoration of the listed house.
In a not-unfamiliar course of events, the new houses were built and sold while the restoration never took place...
