Talking about the restoration programme and sporting a don't use cement I need to breath T-shirt.

Spoke about the programme, what was happening to the other buildings, on the national skills shortage and not to use cement on our old buildings as it kills them.

Quite a good 5 minute slot, I thought.

On saturday I was at Howk bobbin mill in the Lakes and was snapping away with my camera when a voice said "She's having a Ptolomy moment"

I think they meant I was waxing lyrical about the doorways :-(

But I wouldn't describe you as 'anorak charmer' as the Guardian did Ptolo D a couple of weeks' ago!

PS not that your charm is in doubt of course.. it's the anorak - was it meant sartorially or as in the other meaning? Or both?

Also described P and M as the 'Sonny and Cher' of conservation.

I don't know of we have to vote again for the final but there'd be a very, very happy plumber's mate if you did
It's a scheme to create work and jobs, not just a heritage or community centre.

Yes we get to vote again!

I agree - for a village of 200 residents and little hope of other employment this will mean a great deal, and it's great to see industrial heritage being recognised as important.

Even if it doesn't win to be on Restoration and in the final will help secure a future - it just all takes time.
