how to upload photos

Hi everyone

I'm new to this forum just want to know how to upload photos and delete post as I posted the same topic twice and my photos aren't coming up

You use the Attachments tab followed by the Add files button at the bottom of the window here.
But the maximum file size allowed is quite small so you will probably need to save them first as a low-resolution format such as a .gif.

You can also 'drag and drop' a photo from Windows file manager into the reply window.

Me! is right about file size though and I think the maximum is 256KB. I find that reducing a photo to 600 or sometimes 800 pixels wide usually meets this limit and the picture is still good for viewing.

As for deleting posts, I don't believe it's possible on this forum. When I want to delete a post I click on the 'edit' button (the pencil graphic), delete all the contents and then, because you can't submit an empty post, just add a single 'period'. Other characters are available. :wink:
