Hi
I’ve been asked by a friend of mine if I can repair a sand stone cornice for him.
I’ve worked on the buildings for a large part of my working life but have I never had any thing to de with sand stone.
Some of the cornice is worse then other parts, some look as though all they need is filling up with something, but what?
The parts that are in a bad condition look to me as they need cutting out and a new section put back, that I think would need a stone mason!
Is there any one out there who can give me some suggestions on how to tackle this problem?
Thanks a lot.
