How to know if lights are worth keeping?

We are about to have the electrics done in our Edwardian hallway. Many of the lights in the house look antique having checked them on websites and a recent visit to a reclamation yard.

But some I am not sure.

For example this flush light in our hallway.

I don't wish to change something if it is genuinely old.

Is there anything obvious to help spot it? The back panel itself could be newer than the glass shade.

To my eye this looks to be a modern lamp. They were readily available at most retail hardware stores. This style was very popular about ten years ago as a reasonably priced replacement.

I wouldn’t worry too much about whether a light fitting is old or not, it’s not like say a fireplace which was an original feature to the house. I don’t love my door furniture, but some of it has most likely been on the house since it was built and so it stays. If you like it and it feels right in the space then absolutely keep it but otherwise I personally wouldn’t fret about changing it for something I preferred
