Hi all,
we are just having new sash windows fitted, and I am wondering on how to fill the external gaps ! we have about 10 to 20mm in places.
House is red brick, all lime build. The fitter has wedged them in with timber and some foam, thinking maybe cork to fill the bigger gaps then some red putty to finish ? or maybe haired lime all the way, but guess it would not bond to the wood frame.
any suggestions greatly received !
Many thanks Stuart
