I'd have liked to have entitled this "House Finished", but there's still the roof...
A lot of you kindly commented on my "Pleased with Works" thread but here's the final newly lime rendered, ashlar scored, and limewashed thing. Skillingtons were pure delight from start to finish, with the only heart breaking thing being their going. I actually would have given a lot to have gone with them as a trainee lime plasterer, it's a thought though I tend to better at fantasising about careers than actually doing them.
Anyway, piccies!
Best in the sunsets over the valley for which it was built:
And here it is before works, with cement render, and Sandtex paint
It's a subtle difference but all-important!
