Finally we have been able to take the boards down from the front of the house and we can see the (almost!) finished product!
We even have windows, front door, roof, and walls!!!!
not bad even if I do say so!

Well done. I'm looking forward to getting the scaffolding up shortly. Getting the scaffolding down is a dream I'm not even thinking about...

(did find out today that Western Power Distribution will wrap the electricity cables for free so that the scaffolders don't get electricuted. Rather surprised me as I was expecting quite a bill)

The scaffolding has been up for at least six years! the neighbours will be glad to see it go! Thankfully they are very understanding......we haven't quite finished, we still have the rest of the chimney to point, the guttering to locate and put up, etc, etc......
