High quality lining paper

I'm starting to decorate a room and we wish to hang paper on the underlying lime plaster. The walls will require lining and some of the rooms elsewhere in the house have what appears to be a very thick and high quality lining paper (more like a ultra-thin cardboardy brown paper than the really thin cheap stuff in B&Q).

I've tried to track down some quality lining paper, without success...can anyone recommend some or point me in the right direction?

I have used 1400 weight lining paper from the local decor shop on my walls - much thicker than the standard stuff from B&Q - and a good finish on old lime walls - not perfectly smooth but its an old house.

However, you can get 1700 weight from this site

which will be even thicker. They also stock some non-woven alternative paper at a massive cost - not sure about its 'older property credentials'

I'm not sure what weight it was, but we got thick lining paper from John Lewis.

Great thanks - really helpful. I think I'll stick to the heavyweight normal paper for the room that is going to be papered, I have a smaller room which will be colourwashed and I'm tempted to try the non-woven (my hanging skills are not great and the room is small enough to make it affordable...I'll let you know how I get on
