Help - washing up liquid in the rinse-aid thingy

Oh calamity! We rent out part of Amos Towers as a holiday home. One of our guests has mistakenly filled the dishwasher's rinse-aid dispenser with washing up liquid and there's no obvious way of getting it out (AEG Favorit).
Result - bubbles!
I realise this is on the outermost limits of relevance to this forum but you all seem such resourceful, clever and helpful people.
Any ideas.

Try an ordinary bar of soap in the dishwasher.
Place it in the cutlery basket and wash or rinse.
The soap should disapate the foam

Ah the rinse aid!! Before pevious suggestion. (soap)
Wash out with a hose
Make sure you switch it off first and don't go mad with the hose.
If that's to much, empty the washing up liquid into another container.
Fill the washing up liquid contaner with fresh water and squirt/clear it out that way.
that's all I can think of at the moment

I should have said that there is no filler cap as such for the rinse-aid dispenser on this machine. You fill it by trickle-down via the dispensing valve. It seems that it can only re-emerge via that mechanism during umpteen dishwashing cycles.
110 ml of (concentrated!) washing up liquid is a lot of bubbles!

Can you tape it off (waterproof tape) or block it with something. Temperarally

I once filled my dishwasher with washing up liquid...
...now the wife is always blowing bubbles.
