Hi guys. For a good while now I have been 'fighting' the spores below in my cellar. The cellar is dry, and has been used for office space for a few years now, however, the only thing that is of concern are these spores. They seem harmless, and I tend to just scape them off, and then paint over the area. They are quite hard spores, a bit chalky in texture and appear not all over my walls, but just in certain areas. No new ones seem to appear in different areas, they just tend to regrow in the same areas a few weeks after scraping off. Any idea on what they are and maybe how to get rid forever? Note that the wall is simply masonry painted brick, and also that sometimes the spores are more white than yellow. In fact I only tend to scrape them off when they finally go yellow.
