Really interesting bit towards the end of this short video (sorry it is on Twitter, couldn’t find it anywhere else)

They have put vents along the edges of the suspended floor? Is that because there is no circulation underneath and so the only way they can get air moving under the floorboards is to provide it from above? Or is it the reverse and the only way they can ventilate the room?

I guess the logic is that any air movement is better than none and they are intending too rely on convection to draw cold air from beneath the floor.

It is an unusual solution. Is that a vaulted ceiling under the floor? Maybe the ground levels are a bit high outside and awkward to fix, or maybe worryingly close to the moat level (moats must be bad for damp), or they just didn't want to put air vents in the facade. They've added a lot of vents there.

I had a look at their Youtube. They must have hidden a lot of priests in that place.
