We have a toastrack I originally made for my mother.
And a toaster I bought from somebody else's mother.
My mother never owned anything as frivolous as a toaster. Breakfast was generally preceded by the waft of Hovis combusting under the grill, and the sound of carbonated crumbs being scraped into the sink.
