I have just finished laying black limestone flags in my kitchen. (OK, I know they're imported but we didn't want slate..) The question is how to grout them?
They already need some cleaning after laying, and I don't want to make every edge grey instead of black. The typical gap is about 5mm but the edges are dressed so the gap does vary and many are smaller. I anticipate using silver sand and NHL5 but this still leaves questions: dry or wet? How to apply? What about colouring?
I'd also appreciate any views on surface treatment - they look wonderful when wet but seem to show grey dirt very easily.
