Grit/sand blasted granite

Hi all

We had some of our granite grit/sand blasted and then some paint got on to it by a tradesman who fitted and then painted our wooden fascia board whilst on the wall.

Has anyone had any difficulties getting paint off grit/sand blasted granite? Is it because the surface is now more porous?

It's not more porous, the surface has more 'tooth' use DCM solvent stripper or any strong solvent like xylene and a stiff nylon brush.
