Just been looking at an excellent web site - http://www.buildingconservation.com. Lots of good stuff on here by the looks of things. Including, dare I say it, a very balanced and well written piece on 'rising damp'.

It is good, although if you look at dates a few of the articles could do with updating a little.

IHBC website has a couple of informative technical articles too on Repair of Earth Buildings and French Drains (which have nothing to do with France).

Lots of other sites with useful articles via the links bit on the SAVE site and the Ancient Monuments Soc site too.
