Some genius decided to "re-point" parts of the front of our house with cement. Luckily they only did a fairly small area that is easy to reach from the tops of the bays, but there is still some damage to try to fix.
I will of course be trying to remove as much of it as necessary but we have a single course of slightly protruding smoothly dressed stone just above the bay and a couple of these have lost their fronts. These have come off as large single sheets which are luckily still intact.
I have a feeling that I saw something on here where someone had "glued" the fronts back on with neat lime putty, but I cant find anything with the search.
Any experience/advice? I will try to get a picture if it ever stops raining....
