Georgian Town in the news again!

The Grandson of one of our most famous residents appeared briefly on Look East tonight . Hullabaloo this time about mobile CCTV cars nabbing 'illegally' parked cars. Trouble is some residents have to back car ,onto the road, park up briefly whilst nipping back to close the gates--- just time to get 'caught'. What with that, and metal theft from a local farm and a nasty incident at an ATM we are all wondering what ever next. Maybe too much publicity has drawn attention to us.

Whatever can an ATM do to you? Gobble up your fingers in its card slot? Drop heavy £20 notes on your foot?

What an ATM can do to you is get itself a false plastic cover that looks like the real thing and contains a device to read your card and note your pin. I always give the front a poke and a tap before using them! If it moves report it and find a different machine.

Theif leant over shoulder of an elderly person and nicked the notes. Unfortunately there just happened to be an off duty Police Officer in the queue!
