Do you remember that thread ages and ages ago when I asked your collective opinion on the desirability of television for the modern home? I think the consensus was it isn't attractive, but is necessary.
Well, we bought the requisite flat screen (ugh!) and the aerial fitter is here now whilst I do deep breathing in the kitchen. The top bedroom carpet is up, and in and out he's going with his 18 inch drill bit with no success yet in linking up the holes. I had no idea it would be so stressful!
And, a big hole in the Georgian cornice in the Print Room.
Still, perhaps tonight I will be watching live TV for the first time in my own home, in my life.
