Does anyone have any recommendations for suppliers of wooden summer houses?

Depends rather on the size, setting and budget.

But I can wholly recommend (from personal experience at a previous home), Amdega.

Size about 4m square but must also have a covered veranda area of about 1.5m.

Setting, in my garden , by an NZ Eucalyptus tree and an old oak and ash, beside the moat.

I don't mind paying for soething that's going to last, but I'm unsure how much a good one would cost. I'd rather spend about £2-3k but over about £5k I'd then start to worry.....

put "Finnforest" into your search engine - they do a huge range in all styles from (frankly) bog standard to quite spectacular also traditional styles - some have verandas and decks built-in - some are wholly suitable as home offices

they both carry finnforrest range which is v good - cabinville do thatched and more traditional styles too

we are getting and have friends who have got these (finnforrest) summerhouses. They are easy to assemble of solid construction and with a lick of blue paint (my taste) they look the bees knees
