Cheers. No primer. Used ingilby pure linseed paint. Primer coat was just diluted paint with boiled oil nice paint nice company and goes a long way.That's a really nice job, and not very far from where I live. I shall look out for it on my next cycle ride! May I ask what paint/primer you used?
That would be very useful here if you wouldn’t mind sharing - not masses of roof work to be done thankfully, unlike the rest of the entire building! But there is more than enough , including chimneys, and more importantly leadwork…I must confess to not doing this myself. But the guy is fantastic. If anyone needs leadwork done in the mendips area let me know and I will pass his number on.

They do, it's well known in the trade because it's extra work to take it back to the yard and unload it, and then reload for another job.I think they like to wait until they can strip it from your house, put it on their truck and take it straight to the next job!
