French Drain for property in Somerset

Does anyone know of anyone that could dig and create a French Drain for me for a house I'm buying in Langport, Somerset?

Bit too far from my old neck of the woods to recommend anyone specifically, but any half decent ground worker can do the job

The drain ditch needs to be alongside the kitchen (see below the tall chimney) so it's deep and a lot of soil. There's no sign of egress at all but the agents have said a previous survey had suggested a French Drain. The whole house has been revamped beautifully so nowt to do other than (maybe) a drain! The conservation officer has said no to tanking.
