Hello,
My concrete floored Victorian flat currently has some especially unlovely vinyl tiling through the hallway, kitchen and bathroom. The tiles were laid at least 20 years ago and are the "old style" rigid vinyl. They are also very firmly fixed to the floor and aren't going to be moved without some serious persuasion! On the plus side, they are sound, uncracked, and level.
My question is - can ceramic tiles be laid directly on the vinyl, or do they have to be laid on the bare concrete itself?
Many thanks.
