I suppose this isn't so much a "period property" question so apologies if this isn't of great interest here but I'm not sure where else to ask it.
I want to replace our garage "floor" as it's pretty ropy. It used to be a milking parlour but all that remains is a part cobbled, part cracked concrete, part earth, usually damp, extremely uneven base. It's a good space, roughly 9m x 3m and I've made a list of things that we want to use the space for which I feel is quite ambitious. It will need to accommodate a car at times, be a workshop/hobby room at other times and will occasionally be used as a yoga studio. So it needs to be a good, tough, solid floor that has a smooth surface that's easy to clean, won't stain and has a "warm" feel for anyone doing yoga? I assume concrete is probably the answer but this would need a covering that makes it more comfortable for the yogis to use and that covering might not be up to having a car roll over it. Is there something adequate that accommodate all needs?
Thanks in advance for any input!
