Sounds as though it'll make great television, Evelyn. Just be sure that your restoration project over-runs on time and budget, and that you and Mr Evelyn have a major argument about the kitchen floor tiles, and you'll be a star.

Kitchen floor tiles? He's been scrubbing the flagstones this pm, if that's any help. No row though - he knows better than to argue with She Who Must Be Obeyed... he made em filthy (clearing out the chimney) only fair he scrubbed em!

He knows if it is left up to me they'd stay mucky for a very long time - until visitors are due in fact!

Without any heating can't see them arriving in droves.
