First home 1835 semi

Hi,just thought I'd introduce myself as I'm going to be needing alot of help and advice in the coming months, im Richard and ive nearly completed the purchase of my first home ,it was built in 1835,the property is suffering with damp issues amongst others and alot of character seems to have disappeared throughout the years, im excited/nervous about getting it right but im hoping with some help it will become a lovely home
