I've just come across this and thought it might be useful to someone who's being (or worried they mght be) pressured into doing the wrong thing for their property by over-zealous Building Control officers.

I'm sure many of the regulars here have seen this before but it might just help someone who's new here. I hope so, anyway

I'm off now to get my toilets and basins taken in the house - I think 3 years in the garage is long enough!! The house is *finally* starting to look like a home.......at long last!!

The problem is - it's now out of date (new regs) EH is working on an update - it's simply guidance however, and as Gervase will tell, this arty farty conservation stuff cuts no ice with many a BCO...
