We were thinking of limecrete for our old house in Italy but for a number of reasons I think it will be chealper and better to make an earth floor.
We've already done the prep and have 12cms plus of gravel over the base of soil ( no foundations) .
I understand the prinicples involved and the recipies but after the earth floor is laid we will be laying antique bricks to match the rest of the house. Any one got any idea how long before we can lay the bricks after the floor has been laid?
We would lay onto a screed of sand/lime.
