Hi,
We have an early 18C brick cottage built with soft reds that needs repointing. A few questions if you would be so kind:
> would an NHL 2 be ok instead of a fat lime? They are very soft bricks so I think 3.5 would be too much? People that have quoted to do it think it would be too involved with such a large area to do in a fat lime. Thoughts?
> a few test panels have been done and when finishing them off with a brush some of the red brick dust gets onto the mortar joint because they are so soft. Are there other ways of exposing aggregates and finishing off the joints without whacking with a brush?
Thanks
