There is dry rot in the ground floor, and we propose to remove all the timbers and rebuild the floor. The walls are stone. Old Pine panelling covers much of the walls and meets the floor and we would very much like to save it. Barring one patch, which will be removed, it shows no sign of rot.
We would like to adopt a "wait and see" approach, to see if drying out the building helps. That said, is there any regime or product that might assist, or any tips from those who have experienced this. Thank you. Ross.
