The previous owner removed the original sash windows (which had lovely blue and red magin panes) from the front elevation of our house and replaced them with modern sashes with sprial balances grrrr. He did do this with LBC but the windows are fairly poor quality.
Each window has two glazed units with false glazing bars to give a 6 over six arrangement.
My issue is that every glazed unit has clearly failed. We have condensation and a build up of dust in each.
The units clearly need to be replaced but I'm unsure how to approach this. We have a good glazing company locally but would I need to remove each sash for them to dismantle, remove glued on glazing bars, replace units and refix glazing bars?
Anyone dealt with a similar issue?
