Great song by Crowded House, but what's that got to do with period property ?

I thought I had posted earlier today about the cottage BUT after reading you guys still asking me to contact the CO I think I must have pressed the wrong submit button !!! So here goes again. Basically what I said earlier was that the cottage I was looking at had the asking price bid on it this morning and the seller accepted. I don't think after my viewing yesterday that I would go as far as the asking price. So good luck to whoever bought it.

That was before I posted my roof raising question. And what I also said was that although the cottage was sold I thought it might be okay to continue asking questions that have arisen and that benefit me and promote useful discussion ?

The dream isn't over, I went to look at another property today. Just 4 walls didn't put me off but the surrounding area just didn't do it for me. So I'll carry on looking and carry on asking questions if that's okay.

Just one small point - could you please avoid the capital letters in your subject headings? On internet forums (fora?) the capital letter is usually interpreted as shouting. And I know you wouldn't want to be unwittingly impolite.

Thanks Penners - I was fearful of raising it, not wanting to upset anyone. Overuse of bold typeface can be a bit emphatic and "shouty" too. Thankfully text-speak (my real pet peeve!) is a low rate offence on here. (And this isn't an excuse 4 evry1 2 turn the thred n2 a txt-spk thred, rite?)

Nevermind a Razzleberry as i prefer to call them, you simply need an iphone that does everything for you! As for work, well thats another matter!

Ah but a Vertu is just a Nokia in a posh frock! Like my Jaguar estate is nothing more than a mondeo in a posh frock!
