Can anyone recommend a book on installing drains? We have an 18th Century barn to do up, and need to connect to existing sewerage. Shouldn't be all that complicated I would think, but don't want to get it wrong!
Welcome to the forum, I can't recommend a book - but can heartily recommend www.pavingexpert.com, which despite its misleading name is a mine of drainage info and a lot more besides.
You will also need to speak with your local building control department. They will want to inspect the work at various stages - if you don't inform them, they may demand you dig everything up again at the end
