Does anyone have a Vacwash pressure washer attachment for sale?

Hi,

Hope this is allowed.
I am just starting renovating my house, the original part of which is mid-17th century. We are starting to strip the paint of the beams and have been using King Strip paint remover which is very good.
However washing it off is very messy. We have a pressure washer so thought the Vacwash attachment would be a good idea.
Has anyone used this, is it as good as it looks? and does anyone have a second hand one they don't need anymore?

First of all this isn't Facebook Market place, this is a period property forum and secondly, having stripped hundreds of beams and worked on thousands of timber interiors, you are asking about using a pressure washer, on old beams?

I presume you mean Klingstrip rather than Kingstrip. I doubt whether your carpet cleaning vac attachmemt will make things a whole lot better, because, er, gravity, I am presuming, perhaps presumptively, that your beams are above ground level.

I initially assumed you were talking about interior beams, which would of been nuts, no idea why I did that. These beams are all outside right?

I would of thought something like a Karcher pressure steamer would be of more use, the high heat more easily dissolving the thixotropic wax and stripping residue, not to mention not obliterating any friable sections and flooding / destroying any adjacent timber. And yes, I have used this method to clean DCM stripper residue off oak panels.

The small round brush attachment is best and you will need several as these wear.

I recall someone using one a few years ago. Good outside, but you probably wouldn't use inside.

They are stupidly expensive new, so members sharing that sort of thing would make sense.

Thanks Noj - that is exactly what I was referring to. Sorry if I upset people but I read a post that someone else bought one from a previous person on here so thought there was no harm in asking. I didn't mean to upset the protocol.
