There's a Victorian cottage just coming on the market across the road from us, and I was chatting to the highly polished young man from the estate agents, today. We got to talking about HIPs, and I asked him how the energy assessment is carried out for listed properties.
"If the property is listed," he said, "you don't have to have an energy assessment."
