I love finds like that.
When I stripped back by old place (also 1908) I found names and dates of decorators from 1930s, 50s, 70s, 90s, early 2000s then we added ours.
I even managed to contact the daughter of one of the decorators through a local memories page and sent her the pics.
Recreating wallpaper is possible, but would you be willing to pay the price ?I actually really like the look of the original wallpaper, although faded. I would love to recreate it but will have to look into if its possible.

There are several companies online that offer to print digital photos on to paper but I wouldn't like to say how light fast the colours would be. Anything with an embossed texture would be even more expensive - Budget £150 to £500 (or more) per roll, and that would put you in the ballpark.
Thanks, That would be a great idea. I would need to find a piece in a decent position.Or perhaps simply frame it in situ, like a cut-away showing part of an original floor or wall?
