This is the trancript of the oral evidence session from last Tuesday at the House of Commons of the Commons Select Committee of the Dept for Culture, Media and Sport.
Placcy windows gets a mention - as does a great deal else.
The written submissions so far should be available soon. I know what SAVE has submitted (a very long list of things that are very, very wrong currently regarding the protection of the historic environment - including the Deputy Prime Minister...) and as soon as they are all available I'll post the link.
If you feel strongly enough about an issue, then there is still time to submit something - which will be read and considered and published.
It's pretty straightforward - how to go about it is on the parliament website and the Clersk to the Committee will give advice too.
Do it. Notice is taken of individuals who have something informed to say.
I am late but drafting out mine!
